DwellFi appoints ex-Goldman Sachs and BNY Mellon operations leader Christina Ortalano as first Chief Customer Officer

Financial services executive with over two decades of Tier-1 asset management leadership joins DwellFi to scale enterprise deployment and client success.
Palo Alto, CA, Sept 08, 2026 — DwellFi, the deterministic platform for private markets operations, has appointed Christina (Galatro) Ortalano as its first Chief Customer Officer.
Christina brings 22 years of senior operations leadership across top global financial institutions. She spent 14 years at Goldman Sachs directing complex financial and operational workflows, followed by eight years at Bank of New York (BNY Mellon) leading mission-critical asset servicing and operations teams.
At DwellFi, Christina will lead customer relationships, enterprise implementation, and client engagement. Her mandate focuses on helping institutional asset managers, hedge funds, and third-party fund administrators deploy autonomous agent workflows across onboarding, NAV oversight, reconciliation, and compliance.
The appointment comes as asset managers face persistent fee compression and growing pressure to decouple AUM growth from operational headcount. DwellFi’s platform integrates directly with existing enterprise infrastructures and general ledgers, using specialized autonomous agents to deliver labor leverage and compress onboarding timelines from weeks to days.
